About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager - Planning & Control to lead our nursery planning function. You will drive demand forecasting, supply planning, and cost control to ensure optimal plant availability while maintaining efficiency and budget alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and control activities, including KPIs and team performance
• Develop demand forecasts using historical data and commercial insights
• Build supply plans across propagation, procurement, and inventory
• Monitor and control key cost drivers (labor, inputs, wastage, yield)
• Track performance vs. plan and conduct variance analysis
• Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and commercial teams
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Agriculture, Horticulture, Business, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in planning, forecasting, or operational control
• Experience in nurseries, agriculture, or live-product environments preferred
• Proven leadership experience in complex operational environments
• Strong analytical, financial, and planning capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and planning/reporting systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating sustainability metrics (water, waste, resource efficiency)
• Background in large-scale or giga-project environments
