Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Flight Instructor A330 role based in Baghdad Governorate, Iraq. The Flight Instructor will provide ground and flight training to student pilots, including pre-flight briefings, in-flight instruction, and post-flight debriefings. Responsibilities include teaching core piloting skills, instrument procedures, and flight safety practices in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The role involves preparing lesson plans, maintaining accurate training records, and assessing student performance against defined competency criteria. The Flight Instructor will also support safety programs, participate in recurrent training, coordinate with operations and maintenance teams, and ensure all training activities comply with applicable aviation regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong piloting background with demonstrated proficiency in Piloting and Commercial Piloting skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Aviation principles, regulations, and best practices applicable to flight training.
• Proven ability to train and evaluate Instrument Rating procedures and instrument flight operations.
• Commitment to Flight Safety, including risk management, standard operating procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Valid commercial pilot license with instructor rating (or local equivalent), with current medical certification.
• Previous experience as a flight instructor or line pilot in a structured training environment is highly desirable.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English; ability to explain complex concepts in a practical, accessible way.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and maintain professionalism under operational pressures.
