Role Description The Logistics Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar. This position is responsible for coordinating daily shipment activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with transportation and company procedures. The role involves monitoring logistics workflows, resolving operational issues, and optimizing routes and processes to improve service quality and cost efficiency. The specialist will interact with customers and internal teams to provide status updates, handle inquiries, and support timely resolution of delivery concerns. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, analyzing operational data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics network.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor performance, and identify process improvements.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to manage client inquiries, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure clear, professional interactions.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Transportation Management and Supply Chain Management to oversee shipment flows, routing, and logistics operations.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with office and logistics software tools (e.g., Excel, shipment tracking systems, ERP or TMS platforms).
• Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or transportation operations, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Al Khobar, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Working proficiency in English
