Project Overview

The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.

The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking candidates for an IS&T (Information Systems and Technology) infrastructure supportrole on the Ar Rjum project. This is a camp-based role, providing frontline deskside, local network and generalIS&T support for the project team at the jobsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Major Responsibilities

Reporting to the project IS&T lead, you will utilise a global array of technologies to support your jobsitecustomers. You will be exposed to construction work methods and productivity tools and there will beopportunities for growth through collaboration with a global IS&T support organisation. As the successfulcandidate, you will:

• Respond to customer needs, questions and concerns and expedite actions in an accurate, effective andtimely manner
• Maintain, diagnose and resolve local IT Infrastructure, hardware & software related issues, while seekingto continuously improve incident resolution and customer service standards. Areas of support will includelaptop computer hardware and peripherals, mobile device management, networking equipment, videoconferencing, office printing equipment
• Support the project’s automation strategy by installing and maintaining software from an approved suiteof company and project standards
• Work with construction automation to support project systems reporting, data integration and workprocess improvements
• Deploy and provide end-user hardware and IT services to project personnel
• Follow standard operating procedures for IT requests, asset management practices, incidents and end-user support services
• Assist and participate in the implementation and support of new technologies, services and securityremediations
• Assist in the IS&T equipment procurement process.
  
  

Education And Experience Requirements

Industry experience gained through a recognised degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialised courses inInformation Systems, Engineering, Construction, or related fields, and/or work experience in a STEM-relatedfield, with 6-9 years of industry experience.

Required Knowledge And Skills

The role requires a blend of customer focus, analytical and technical skills. Some key attributes you bring tothis role include:

• Eager to learn a broad array of general IS&T skills in infrastructure, networking and general applicationssupport
• Flexibility to travel and work in a remote construction site location
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety offactors
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Build productive and collaborative internal/external working relationships with local/remote personnel
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system and Microsoft 365 products(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Some additional attributes you may bring to this role include:
• Experience identifying, documenting and communicating changes that may have a cost or scheduleimpact and provide input for management reporting
• Knowledge of satellite/microwave communication technologies, radio systems and call groupmanagement, site access control, construction webcam support, etc.
