Waterjet Machine Operator - Marble & Stone

Dar Almasalla is a Saudi company specializing in marble fabrication, custom marble products, and interior finishing solutions. Our Riyadh production facility combines skilled craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technology to produce high-quality marble and stone works for residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for an experienced Waterjet Machine Operator to join our production team in Riyadh.

The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC waterjet cutting equipment used for marble, natural stone, and related materials. The role requires good technical understanding, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work from production drawings and cutting files.

• Set up and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines for marble, natural stone, and related materials.
• Review shop drawings, cutting drawings, dimensions, and production instructions before machining.
• Load and position marble or stone slabs correctly on the machine.
• Prepare or load cutting programs and verify tool paths before starting production.
• Adjust machine parameters according to material type, thickness, and cutting requirements.
• Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and minimize material waste.
• Check finished parts against drawings and specified dimensions.
• Perform nesting and material utilization checks where required.
• Identify cutting defects or machine issues and make appropriate adjustments.
• Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Inspect and replace consumable components such as nozzles, mixing tubes, abrasives, and related parts when required.
• Monitor waterjet pressure, abrasive supply, and other operating conditions.
• Report machine faults and coordinate with the maintenance team when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production and material records.
• Follow factory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with technical drawing, production, and quality-control teams to ensure jobs are completed according to specifications.

• Previous experience operating CNC waterjet cutting machines is required.
• Experience working with marble, granite, natural stone, ceramic, porcelain, glass, or similar materials is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings, shop drawings, dimensions, and cutting plans.
• Good understanding of CNC machine setup and cutting parameters.
• Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
• Basic knowledge of machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to dimensional accuracy and finished-product quality.
• Ability to handle and work safely around large stone slabs and production equipment.
• Ability to work effectively within a factory production environment.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, nesting, or waterjet programming software is an advantage.
• Previous experience in marble or stone fabrication in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred; Arabic is an advantage.
