Job Summary

• Supervise all scaffold erection, alteration, inspection, and dismantling activities.
• Ensure scaffolding is erected and maintained in accordance with GI 8.001, approved scaffold drawings, and project requirements.
• Ensure scaffolders are trained, competent, and properly supervised.
• Inspect scaffold materials/components before and during erection to ensure they are suitable and compliant.
• Conduct and document scaffold inspections before the scaffold is released for use and following any alteration or modification.
• Ensure proper Red/Yellow/Green scaffold tagging is implemented and maintained as applicable.
• Be physically present during scaffold erection, alteration, and dismantling activities and exercise effective supervision over scaffold craftsmen.
• Immediately stop and rectify any unsafe or non-compliant scaffolding activity.
• Maintain scaffold inspection records, checklists, and tagging records.
• Coordinate with the HSE and Construction teams regarding scaffolding activities.
• Maintain effective communication with scaffolders and site management and have good written and verbal English communication skills.

Qualification / Skills and Experience

• Valid Saudi Aramco-approved Scaffold Supervisor certification, preferably Scaffold Supervisor I, as applicable to the project scope.
• Proven experience in Saudi Aramco construction projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of tube-and-coupler, system, frame, mobile, bracket, and other applicable scaffold systems.
• Good knowledge of scaffold inspection, tagging, fall protection, scaffold drawings, and safe erection/dismantling practices.
• Ability to read and understand scaffold drawings/plans and applicable safety requirements.
