Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure and deployment environments. The role will focus on improving CI/CD processes, cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key Tasks

* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

* Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.

* Manage cloud and on-premises environments.

* Deploy and manage containerized applications.

* Monitor infrastructure, applications, and system performance.

* Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production issues.

* Implement backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Responsibilities

* Design and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure.

* Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.

* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

* Manage CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

* Maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools.

* Apply DevSecOps practices and ensure infrastructure security.

* Optimize system performance, availability, and deployment processes.

* Work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.

* Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering, including senior-level responsibilities.

* Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

* Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

* Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/configuration tools.

* Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

* Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and scripting.

* Experience with Git and source-control workflows.

* Knowledge of monitoring, logging, security, backup, and disaster recovery practices.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or DevOps.

* Experience with enterprise or government environments.

* Experience with microservices and high-availability production environments.

* Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
