Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Butler Experience
- Welcome guests warmly and provide personalized and attentive service.
- Understand guest preferences, dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
- Build professional relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience.
- Handle VIP guests and special occasions with discretion and attention to detail.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and feedback.
Food & Beverage Service
- Provide professional food and beverage service in restaurants, lounges, guest rooms, pool areas, or private dining locations.
- Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, and available options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
- Ensure proper table setting, presentation, clearing, and resetting.
- Coordinate the timing of courses to provide a seamless dining experience.
- Assist with room service and private dining arrangements when required.
Beverage Knowledge
- Maintain good knowledge of beverages, including coffee, tea, juices, mocktails, wines, and other beverages offered by the property.
- Recommend suitable beverages based on guest preferences and menu selections.
- Follow responsible beverage service procedures and applicable hotel policies.
Guest Preference Management
- Record and communicate guest preferences to relevant departments.
- Remember preferences of repeat and VIP guests wherever possible.
- Coordinate special requests such as birthdays, anniversaries, dietary arrangements, or personalized dining experiences.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion when dealing with guest information.
Operational Support
- Ensure assigned service areas are properly prepared before each shift.
- Check availability of menus, cutlery, glassware, crockery, linen, condiments, and service equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the service area.
- Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Concierge, and other departments when required.
- Ensure orders are correctly entered into the POS system.
- Assist with billing and ensure accuracy of guest checks.
Service Quality & Complaint Handling
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Resolve minor service issues immediately wherever possible.
- Escalate serious guest concerns to the supervisor or manager.
- Maintain professionalism and composure while handling demanding situations.
- Support the team in consistently achieving guest satisfaction and service-quality targets.
Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP requirements.
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
- Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure food and beverages are handled and served safely.
- Report maintenance, safety, or hygiene concerns immediately.

Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in Hospitality Management is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, Butler Service, Fine Dining, Luxury Hospitality, or a similar guest-facing role.
- Previous experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, fine-dining restaurant, premium lounge, or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Butler training or luxury service certification will be an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages will be an advantage.
