Job Purpose

The Director of General Ledger & Finance Operations will lead the General Ledger and core finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end closing, strong financial controls, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead General Ledger, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee financial reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and accounting adjustments.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting.
• Oversee core finance operations, including AP/AR and related accounting processes.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance.
• Manage internal and external audit requirements and resolve audit findings.
• Drive finance process improvement, automation, and ERP optimization.
• Lead, develop, and manage the finance operations team.
• Partner with senior management and business functions to support financial decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, SOCPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, including significant GL and finance operations experience.
• 5+ years in a managerial/senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, internal controls, and ERP systems.
• Experience in large, fast-growing, regulated, or technology-driven organizations is preferred.
