HCM Applications Manager

Department: Enterprise Applications

Reports to: Director - Information Technology

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HCM Applications Manager to lead the implementation, configuration, integration, and support of enterprise HCM systems, including Oracle Fusion HCM and Workday.

The role will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure effective HR technology solutions, system performance, compliance, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence, and Talent Management.
• Configure business rules, workflows, approval hierarchies, and system processes.
• Translate HR business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Manage integrations between HCM platforms and third-party systems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and system extensions using tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Manage data migration and conversion from legacy systems.
• Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues.
• Lead UAT, regression testing, and security role validation.
• Provide training and support to HR super users.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial, HR, and local labor regulations.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration workbooks, and process documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in HCM systems implementation and support.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and/or Workday.
• Experience across HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Talent Management.
• Knowledge of SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, HCM Extract, VBCS, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of HCM integrations and data migration.
• Experience working with cross-functional HR, Finance, and IT teams.
• Oracle or Workday certification is preferred.
• Experience with multi-country payroll and HR compliance is highly desirable.
