Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Performance Test Engineer at Wareef. The Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for test execution, load testing, performance analysis, and overall testing activities to ensure the quality and performance of IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Experience in non-functional testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad
• Develop and execute performance test plans and scripts
• Provide hands-on technical assistance to enable load test automation and improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability
• Experience in APM and monitoring tools, including Grafana
• Identify performance bottlenecks and issues in applications
• Work with developers to understand application architecture and design
• Create performance reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Provide recommendations to improve application performance
• Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent time management skills
• Good attitude and communication skills are required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering/related field
• 3 to 7 years of industry and domain expertise in performance testing and analysis
• Proficiency in performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana)
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, authentication, distributed systems, databases, networks, and common performance bottlenecks
• Experience in the banking and payments domain is preferred
• Familiarity with IBM MQ is preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 messaging standards is preferred
