Role Description As a User Experience Designer at Red Bananas, you will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing strategists, developers, and content creators. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting user research, transforming insights into personas and journey maps, and applying design thinking to solve complex user and business problems. You will create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile experiences that support marketing campaigns and digital products. The role involves iterating on designs based on feedback and analytics, participating in design reviews, and helping to establish UX best practices and standards. You will also contribute to documentation, maintain design systems, and ensure that all experiences are usable, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong user-centered mindset with skills in User Experience (UX) design and Design Thinking.
• Ability to plan and conduct User Research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analysis of findings.
• Proficiency in Visual Design, creating clear, consistent, and engaging interfaces that align with brand and marketing goals.
• Experience with Prototyping, including wireframes and interactive prototypes using common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Familiarity with responsive web design, basic interaction design principles, and accessibility standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience in UX or product design; a portfolio showcasing user-centered design work is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
