Job Purpose:

Responsible for supervising and controlling brake and electrical production activities, ensuring proper installation, testing, quality, and timely completion of trailer brake and electrical systems according to customer specifications, and company standards. The Foreman will lead technicians, solve technical issues, and ensure production targets are achieved without rework.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Supervision

• Supervise daily activities of brake and electrical technicians in the production line.
• Allocate manpower and assign tasks according to the production plan and priorities.
• Monitor progress of brake and electrical installation activities to meet delivery targets.
• Ensure all units are completed within the planned hours.
• Coordinate with Production Engineers, QC, PDI, and other departments for smooth workflow.
• Identify, report, and document any material shortages or defective parts, and maintain accurate records for follow-up action.

Brake System Management

• Supervise installation and testing of trailer braking systems including:
• Air brake systems
• Brake chambers
• Air valves and piping
• ABS/EBS systems
• Brake adjustments and testing
• Verify correct installation, routing, and functionality of brake components.
• Support technicians in troubleshooting brake-related issues.
• Ensure brake testing and inspections are completed before PDI.

Electrical System Management

• Supervise installation of trailer electrical systems including:
• Wiring harnesses
• Lighting systems
• Connectors and junction boxes
• ABS/EBS electrical connections
• Sensors and electrical accessories
• Ensure wiring is installed according to drawings and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and guide technicians for corrective actions.
• Ensure proper cable routing, protection, and finishing.
