We are IMMUNE TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE, a living organism of knowledge, where technology and ideas are the engine based in Madrid, offering a range of innovative programmes in six areas in partnership with leading companies: Data and AI (Google), Programming (HP), Cybersecurity (Santander), UX/UI, Blockchain (Alastria) and Cloud (AWS).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

“The Chief Academic Director is the key ingredient in Immune´s secret recipe”.

Our successful candidate will be the point of contact with our most precious asset, our students. On the one hand, she/he will be in permanent communication with students and our commercial team, in order to understand and continuously improve our academic products. 

By understanding the educational needs, he/she, will be in charge of creating a network of knowledge through an extended network of in house and freelancers.  In order to create and define the various educational needs.

She/he will report to the Institute General Manager and will be responsible for developing all products, and will be part of the Executive Committee.

She/he will evaluate the evolution of groups of students.

She/he will supervise the admission processes.

She/he will support the marketing and communication team.

The CAO will work hand in hand with different types of students to create a world class learning experience and on the promotion of the Institute both nationally and internationally.

YOU ARE GOOD AT:

• Planning, academic scheduling, and institutional evaluation in accordance with curricular objectives and criteria.
• Organization and hiring of academic faculty by area and coordinating their actions to achieve institutional objectives.
• Responsible for the qualification of the educational process through ongoing support for professors and students.
• Responsible for the student relationship strategy throughout the different phases of the customer journey.
• Overseeing the academic alignment and accreditation process of all technology programs and bootcamps with local Saudi regulatory authorities, particularly the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), ensuring full compliance and program recognition.
• Develop the strategy for IMMUNE's different cross-departmental projects that affect the student community experience, especially the job board, internships, and the alumni community.
• Understanding and communicating the mission, vision and values of the IMMUNE, including all communications and interactions with prospective students and corporate partners.
• Developing the organisational strategy for admissions by providing information, analysis and recommendations that establish functional objectives in line with the Institute’s goals.
• Creating an academic plan that encompasses trend evaluation, setting key measurements, defining processes and systems, ensuring productivity and quality, delivering customer service, building know-how, solving problems and managing change.
• Promoting the Institute nationwide by delivering presentations to various audiences, including students, teachers and parents, at different venues such as school conferences, corporate events and job fairs.
• Developing and monitoring statistical records to improve student recruitment performance, yield management, forecasting, and overall operational efficiency.
• Maintaining a continuous flow of quality applicants by evaluating enrolment trends and marketing activities. 
• Updating sales strategies to ensure effective recruitment. 
• Creating a system to welcome prospective students to the IMMUNE campus by staging biannual open days.

YOU BRING:

Education and qualifications:

Computer, telecommunications, physics or mathematical engineer, preferably at first degree level.

At least 10 years' experience participating in projects related to information technology and/or education, including at least 3 years in a coordinating or project director role.

Valuable experience as a teacher.

Valuable experience as a speaker at congresses, talks, etc.

Professional skills:

Experience in academia or consultancy, obtained either through working at multinationals or educational organisations.

Experience in benchmarking businesses, either in a client service role or as an expert advisor, is advantageous.

Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Arabic and English. Knowledge of additional languages ​​is an asset.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with people at all levels of seniority.

Ability to identify opportunities to enhance existing products and improve their development to meet students’ needs.

Ability to motivate others and foster strong teamwork.

Organisational savvy and keen coordination skills.

Can lead strategic development plans and improvements to new portfolio ideas, as well as existing programmes, processes and products.

Can operate effectively in a matrix organisation.

Knowledge:

Fundamental computing/technology concepts. Programming experience (even if it was years ago).

Fundamental understanding of at least five of the following technologies:

• Fundamental computing/technology concepts. Programming experience (even if it was years ago).
• Fundamental understanding of at least five of the following technologies: Cybersecurity, Big Data, AI, Semantic Web, Machine Learning, Voice Technologies, Cloud platforms, IoT, Natural Language Processing, and Agile development methodologies.
• Main open-source projects (Apache, Linux, MySQL, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Saudi Arabia's vocational education framework, including TVTC accreditation, licensing standards, and curriculum mapping requirements.
• Blockchain, IoT, Cloud platforms and services, Natural Language Processing, Agile development methodologies.
