We are IMMUNE TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE, a living organism of knowledge, where technology and ideas are the engine based in Madrid, offering a range of innovative programmes in six areas in partnership with leading companies: Data and AI (Google), Programming (HP), Cybersecurity (Santander), UX/UI, Blockchain (Alastria) and Cloud (AWS).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The IT Director will define, lead, and execute IMMUNE’s technology strategy, infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the General Manager and coordinating with the Global Operations team, you will build and manage the technological backbone that powers our digital campus, B2C bootcamps, and high-stakes B2B/B2G corporate training programs.

IT Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the local IT roadmap aligned with business growth. Serve as the primary technology advisor to executive leadership, establishing governance, best practices, and IT service delivery standards across KSA.

Infrastructure & Multi-Cloud Architecture: Own and manage the cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and campus physical tech stack (high-density Wi-Fi, AV/streaming rooms, lab environments). Ensure high availability, scalability, low latency, and cost efficiency.

Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce enterprise-grade security controls and incident response frameworks. Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity and data protection regulations, specifically the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA / ECC standards) and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL / SDAIA).

Core Business Platforms & EdTech Stack: Oversee the integration, performance, and data flow of core enterprise platforms: CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), Learning Management Systems (LMS), ERPs, and automated student onboarding workflows.

International & Cross-Border Deployment: Architect and maintain a secure, seamless tech integration between Madrid HQ and the Riyadh hub, coordinating shared services, unified identity management, and cross-border platform scaling.

Team & Vendor Management: Lead, mentor, and grow the local IT and systems support team. Oversee relationships with telecom providers, hardware vendors, software licensors, and local IT service contractors.

YOU ARE GOOD AT:

• Strategic IT Architecture & Business Alignment: Designing scalable, resilient IT infrastructure that directly supports commercial scaling, student learning experiences, and corporate client integrations.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance Governance: Navigating complex regulatory environments in KSA, implementing robust defense-in-depth measures, and managing data sovereignty requirements.
• EdTech & Enterprise Systems Integration: Connecting disparate SaaS tools, APIs, CRM workflows, and virtual lab environments into a frictionless digital learning ecosystem.
• C-Level Executive Communication: Translating complex technical concepts, infrastructure costs, and security risks into clear, ROI-driven business decisions for C-level decision-makers.
• Hands-On Problem Solving & Crisis Management: Maintaining operational composure during high-pressure situations, technical disruptions, or live campus events.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Operating effectively in an international matrix structure, balancing local operational autonomy in KSA with global corporate IT standards from Madrid.

YOU BRING:

Education and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Non-Negotiable: A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or IT operations, with at least 3+ years in a team leadership or IT management role.

Industry certifications are strongly preferred: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or ITIL.

Professional skills:

Non-Negotiable: Full bilingual fluency in English (professional fluent) and Arabic (native or professional fluent), both written and spoken.

Strong hands-on expertise with public cloud platforms (specifically AWS), network security, firewalls, and enterprise identity management (Azure AD / Okta).

Deep understanding of Saudi Arabia's data privacy regulations (PDPL), data residency requirements, and NCA cybersecurity frameworks.

Prior experience in managing complex IT environments within EdTech, Higher Education, Technology Services, or Multinational Corporations operating in KSA.

Demonstrated track record of successful vendor negotiations, budget management, and RFP/procurement management for hardware and software systems.

Knowledge:

Solid knowledge of modern API architecture, LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Open edX), and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce).

Familiarity with setting up high-performance physical campus infrastructure (smart classrooms, AV lab systems, high-density networks).
