Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Supervisor role based at Jawhara Al Nuzah Supermarket in Dammam. The Supervisor oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards. The role includes coordinating and guiding team members, organizing work schedules, and ensuring that staff follow company policies and customer service guidelines. The Supervisor supports inventory management by checking deliveries, monitoring expiry dates, and ensuring proper product displays and pricing. The role also involves handling customer inquiries and complaints, assisting with basic cash handling oversight, and reporting operational issues or improvement opportunities to management.

Qualifications

• Store operations and retail supervision skills, including managing daily activities, coordinating shifts, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with shoppers, resolve issues, and support a positive store experience.
• Basic inventory and merchandising skills, such as monitoring stock, organizing product displays, and maintaining accurate pricing and labeling.
• Team leadership and people management abilities to motivate staff, provide guidance, and support a respectful, inclusive work environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify operational gaps, safety concerns, and process improvements.
• Ability to work on-site in Dammam, stand for extended periods, and perform light physical tasks related to supermarket operations.
• Previous experience in supermarket or retail supervision is preferred; vocational or secondary education in business, retail, or a related field is an advantage.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with point-of-sale processes; ability to follow company policies and local regulations.
