Investment & Asset Specialist

Job Objective:

To contribute to the management, monitoring, and analysis of the company’s investments and assets; evaluate investment opportunities; analyze performance, returns, and associated risks; and prepare financial studies and reports that support management in making investment decisions, while ensuring the optimal utilization of assets and achieving the best possible value from them.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze investment opportunities and evaluate expected returns and associated risks.
• Monitor the performance of investments and assets and prepare periodic performance reports.
• Conduct financial and economic analyses to support investment decisions.
• Prepare financial studies and feasibility studies for investment opportunities and projects.
• Direct investment portfolios in alignment with the investment strategy.
• Evaluate assets and monitor their value, performance, and utilization.
• Develop financial models and analyze cash flows and financial forecasts.
• Monitor relevant markets and sectors and identify investment opportunities and challenges.
• Analyze financial and operational data related to investments and assets.
• Monitor investment portfolios and ensure their alignment with approved objectives and directions.
• Monitor reports on the implementation of investment projects and their timelines to identify and monitor risks.
• Assess investment risks and prepare appropriate recommendations to mitigate them.
• Compare the performance of investments and assets against approved budgets, objectives, and performance indicators.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to investments and assets and submit them to the relevant management.
• Monitor contracts, agreements, and documents related to investments and assets and maintain their records.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Project Management, and other relevant departments and stakeholders regarding investments and assets.
• Monitor financial and operational obligations associated with assets and investments.
• Contribute to developing and improving investment and asset management and monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, and controls related to investments and assets.
• Regularly monitor operational performance indicators and propose initiatives to improve and develop work processes.
• Perform any other duties related to the nature of the position as assigned by the direct manager.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications in investment or asset management, such as CFA or equivalent, are preferred.

Experience

• 5 years or more of experience in investment, asset management, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in preparing financial studies, feasibility studies, and investment analysis is preferred.

• Strong financial and investment analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and indicators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in Power BI and data analysis tools is preferred.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Strong research and market analysis skills.
• Ability to assess investment risks and opportunities.
• Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
