CMAI08 - Maintenance Mechanic, Lead

KBR is Looking for a Machinist who sets up, programs, and operates workshop machines to manufactureprecision components according to technical drawings. They ensure quality through precise measurements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety and production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Receives jobs, work instructions, drawing, specification as required from Supervisor and perform work.
• Use right tools and equipment for the job and operate heavy duty specialized tools taken from Central tool room.
• Operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc.
• Perform all the installation and Maintenance works as per procedures and guidelines.
• Carryout necessary testing (Hydro, Pneumatic, etc.)
• Receive necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards.
• Consult with Supervisor for any technical issues.
• Perform good Housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.
• Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards and requirements.
• Comply with all Safety, health and environment standards and procedures.
• Report all Near misses, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.
• Experience in manual lathe machines
• Experience in horizontal boring machines
• Experience in milling machines
• Familiarity with fabrication of components/tools
• Experience in tool design
• Ability to interpret cross-sectional and dimensional drawings
• Average fluency in English communication
• Preference will be given to candidates with CNC experience

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance - High School.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance - Diploma.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
