Day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting architectural and historical research, assessing building conditions and pathologies, developing appropriate conservation and intervention proposals, and preparing technical and regulatory documentation.

r Conservation Architect will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure that all works comply with international conservation standards and best practices. The role also involves regular coordination with authorities, clients, and local stakeholders to ensure a heritage-sensitive approach that respects the cultural and historical context.
Qualific

tions
Heritage

Buildings & Conservation: Proven experience working with heritage buildings, with a strong understanding of conservation issues and the historical, architectural, and cultural constraints associated with historic structures.
Architec

ure & Building Conservation: Degree or professional background in Architecture, with strong expertise in Building Conservation and the ability to develop intervention solutions that are compatible with heritage values and conservation principles.
Project

anagement: Strong project management skills, including planning, site supervision, multidisciplinary team coordination, programme monitoring, and management of complex project budgets.
Educatio

& Professional Experience: University degree in Architecture, Architectural Conservation, Heritage Conservation, or a related field, with significant senior-level experience in the conservation and restoration of historic buildings, preferably on large-scale heritage projects.
Technica

Skills: Proficiency in architectural drawing and modelling software, including AutoCAD and BIM/Revit; good knowledge of local and international conservation standards and guidelines; and the ability to prepare clear, comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
Personal

& Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy and professional rigour, ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
