Role Purpose:

Owns the integrity of aljeel's inventory record across every warehouse. Inventory accuracy is the foundation under days on-hand, expiries, and fulfilment; when the record is wrong, capital is trapped, stock expires unseen, and OTIF promises break on stock that was never really there.

The role is also a core member of the Oracle WMS deployment team over the next 12 months, responsible for the inventory and stock-control backbone of the new system - and for carrying stock-control discipline into aljeel's move off 3PL and into its own warehouse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

This role owns the accuracy of the inventory record end to end across all sites and is the inventory authority on the WMS project.

• Hold perpetual inventory accuracy across all warehouses above a threshold agreed with the management, through a structured cycle-count program rather than reliance on annual wall-to-wall counts.
• Reconcile book-to-physical stock, drive every material variance to root cause, and reduce unexplained adjustments and shrinkage period over period.
• Enforce FEFO and lot-level discipline so expiry and near-expiry stock surfaces early enough for commercial action, holding expiry exposure down as a share of inventory value.
• Serve as the inventory and stock-control lead on the Oracle WMS project team: own item and location master-data integrity, slotting and bin logic, and the design of cycle-count and adjustment workflows in the system, and lead user-acceptance testing for all inventory functions ahead of go-live.
• Standardize stock-control SOPs across all sites so a count, an adjustment, and a write-off follow the same controlled path everywhere.
• Build and lead the stock-controller team across the three warehouses, setting a common standard of accuracy and accountability.
• Produce reliable inventory-aging and slow-moving / excess data that the planning and commercial teams can act on to pull DIO down without breaking OTIF.
• Keep records audit- and inspection-ready for SFDA and GDP requirements, with lot traceability intact for recall and field-safety response.

Key Deliverables & Success Criteria:

• Inventory record accuracy held above the agreed threshold across Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah, evidenced by cycle-count results rather than year-end counts.
• A measurable, sustained reduction in unexplained stock variance and adjustment value.
• Expiry exposure held below the agreed share of inventory value through early FEFO-driven flagging.
• A clean go-live of the Oracle WMS inventory and stock-control modules - accurate master data, working cycle-count and adjustment processes, controllers trained and operating in the system.
• Inventory-aging data trusted enough that planning and commercial teams use it to act on slow-moving and excess stock.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-to-7 years in inventory / stock control within a distribution business, ideally in medical devices, pharma, or another regulated, expiry- and lot-sensitive environment.
• Hands-on Oracle WMS deployment experience - part of an implementation or go-live team, not solely an end user. This is a hard requirement given the next 12 months.
• A demonstrable track record running cycle-count programs and resolving book-to-physical variance, not just maintaining records.

Skills & Competencies:

Core (must-have):

• Oracle WMS deployment - master data, slotting/bin logic, cycle-count and adjustment workflow configuration, UAT.
• Inventory record accuracy and cycle-counting program design.
• Book-to-physical reconciliation and variance root-cause analysis.
• FEFO / expiry and obsolescence control at lot level.
• Strong ERP and inventory-data handling; comfortable interrogating data, not just reading reports.

Preferred (edge):

• Exposure to GDP / ISO 13485 inventory and traceability requirements.
• Experience transitioning inventory operations from 3PL to an owned, modern warehouse.
• Cold-chain and high-value SKU handling in a medical-distribution setting

Language Proficiency.

English - professional working proficiency.

Proficiency in Arabic as well is a preference.

• Warehouse Managers across the three sites.
• Supply & Demand Planning and Procurement (aging, excess, and replenishment signals).
• Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (quality holds, lot traceability, audit readiness).
• Finance (inventory valuation, write-offs, working-capital reporting).
• The Oracle WMS project team and IT (deployment, configuration, data migration).

External:

• Oracle WMS implementation partner / system integrator.
• Current 3PL provider during the transition off outsourced warehousing.
• External and regulatory auditors for inventory and traceability verification.
