Role Description The Purchase Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies and budget guidelines. The Purchase Specialist will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials, and track deliveries to maintain accurate records. The role includes reviewing supplier performance, negotiating pricing and terms, and resolving discrepancies in orders, invoices, and contracts. The Purchase Specialist will also support cost optimization initiatives, prepare regular purchasing reports, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and purchasing practices, with experience in purchase management.
• Ability to create, review, and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrated analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance, pricing, and inventory needs.
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or supply-chain environments is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or procurement systems; ability to maintain organized digital records.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, finance, and logistics teams.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and manage multiple purchasing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
