Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.
They undertake complex operational activities including collection, consolidation, prioritization, and analysis of requests as well as working on the development and delivery
Job Resposiblites
- Support the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices and productivity improvement
- Develop methodology, working guidelines, templates and processes for legal inquiry research and advisory services related to all ZATCA functions
- Receive and evaluate requests for legal advice, and classify them according to urgency and relevance
- Handle the continuous update of legal advisory database systems (related to legal inquiry/support) ensuring request logs are always recent
- Assist in the development and delivery of relevant legal studies and provide non-(tax, zakat, and customs) legal opinion on inquiries received from different sectors and divisions
- Provide legal advice for simple inquiries and accordingly clarify ambiguities and provide solutions and recommendations
- Develop employee feedback/satisfaction surveys ensuring compliance to relevant research and global best practicesCommunicate legal advisory services satisfaction surveys to key stakeholders and ensure that the assessments are completed accurately within the specified date
Job Details
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
- Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, or equivalent is required
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
