Role Description The Finance (Freshers - Unpaid) role at SJA Pathway is a part-time remote opportunity designed for individuals starting their career in finance and accounting. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting in reviewing and organizing financial data, supporting the preparation and analysis of basic financial statements, and helping with documentation related to budgeting and reporting. The role can also involve researching financial trends relevant to SJA Pathway’s platforms, contributing to simple cost and revenue analyses, and maintaining accurate records under guidance from senior team members. Participants will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and learn to apply analytical thinking to real-world business scenarios, gaining practical experience in a flexible, remote environment.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and understanding of basic Financial Statements that a candidate should possess for entry-level support.
• Fundamental knowledge of Accounting principles that a candidate should possess to assist with bookkeeping and documentation.
• Analytical Skills that a candidate should possess to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Clear and professional Communication skills that a candidate should possess for collaborating with team members and presenting insights.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic financial tools; familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to manage part-time remote responsibilities reliably.
• Interest in AI-driven business tools and willingness to work in a fast-evolving, tech-enabled environment.
