About the Role

The Asset Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, tracking asset movements, conducting periodic asset verification, and supporting asset documentation and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the asset register, ensuring assets are properly classified, tagged, and recorded.
• Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconcile records with the asset management system.
• Track asset movements, transfers, allocations, and disposals.
• Maintain asset documentation, including manuals, warranties, certificates, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure asset records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare asset inventory and status reports.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company asset management procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in asset management, facilities management, or engineering support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency in asset tracking systems and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory management practices.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness.

Preferred Certifications

IAM Certificate in Asset Management, CAMA, SAP PM / IBM Maximo Training, or ISO 55001 Awareness are considered an advantage.
