About the Role

Growth Solutions Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on accounting experience with solid knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA requirements, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and support management reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements.
• Prepare and review VAT-related accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Monitor account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Work effectively with ERP/accounting systems.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Previous accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Professional accounting certification or progress toward one is an advantage.
