IT Manager - Corporate IT & Cybersecurity

Vivienda Hotels is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and develop the organization’s corporate IT function as we continue to strengthen our systems, infrastructure, governance, and digital capabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an IT professional who can assess the existing technology environment, establish a robust corporate IT framework, and ensure that the organization’s technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall corporate IT function, including IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, systems, end-user computing, telecommunications, and IT support.

• Assess the existing IT environment and develop a structured roadmap to strengthen the organization’s technology architecture, systems, controls, and capabilities.

• Establish and maintain appropriate IT governance frameworks, policies, procedures, standards, and controls, including access management, change management, asset management, backup, incident management, and disaster recovery.

• Lead the organization’s cybersecurity framework, including security architecture, endpoint protection, network security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, and employee cybersecurity awareness.

• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi cybersecurity, data protection, and information security requirements, including relevant NCA and PDPL requirements.

• Develop and maintain appropriate data governance, privacy, retention, backup, recovery, and protection controls across the organization.

• Establish and regularly test IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring critical systems and data can be restored within appropriate recovery objectives.

• Manage corporate applications and technology platforms, including Microsoft 365, ERP and other business systems, ensuring appropriate integration, access controls, availability, and support.

• Manage IT vendors, service providers, software licenses, technology contracts, SLAs, renewals, and IT procurement while ensuring cost effectiveness and service quality.

• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT hardware, software, licenses, systems, user access, and technology assets.

• Establish appropriate IT service management and helpdesk processes, including incident tracking, escalation, resolution standards, and user support.

• Work closely with Finance, HR, Operations, Internal Audit, Risk and other functions to ensure technology controls adequately support business and governance requirements.

• Coordinate IT-related internal and external audits, cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing, risk assessments, and remediation activities.

• Lead, develop, and supervise the existing IT team while determining the appropriate future structure and capabilities required for the function.

• Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, technology investment plans, and implementation roadmap.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded corporate IT professional with strong hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, data protection, IT governance, and business applications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Approximately 8-12 years of relevant IT experience, including experience in an IT management, infrastructure, systems, or technology leadership role.

• Strong practical knowledge of enterprise networks, firewalls, servers, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365/Azure environments, endpoint management, backup solutions, identity and access management, and cybersecurity controls.

• Demonstrated experience establishing or significantly improving an organization’s IT infrastructure, policies, processes, and control environment.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and Saudi regulatory requirements relating to cybersecurity and personal data protection.

• Experience managing third-party IT vendors, technology implementation projects, software licensing, and outsourced service providers.

• Experience with ERP and enterprise business systems is highly desirable.

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCNP, Microsoft/Azure, ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001 or equivalent would be an advantage.

• Experience within hospitality, real estate, investment, or a multi-site corporate environment would be beneficial.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and build an IT function appropriate for a growing organization.
