Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Saudi Arabia, responsible for leading and overseeing construction projects from planning through completion. This role involves managing day-to-day site activities, supervising construction teams and subcontractors, and ensuring work is executed according to design documents, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Construction Manager will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and implement project controls to keep projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, resolving site issues, liaising with architects, engineers, and clients, and preparing regular reports on project status. The role also requires enforcing construction safety practices, overseeing inspections, and supporting continuous improvement in site operations and communication.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills with experience leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and managing daily construction activities.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking to keep projects within approved budgets and manage variations.
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices, regulations, and risk management, with a record of maintaining safe worksites.
• Hands-on experience in construction, including reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of project control methodologies, including scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting using relevant tools and software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects, preferably in the architecture, engineering, or construction consulting sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and site personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems on-site, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing project conditions.
• Proficiency in relevant construction and project management software; familiarity with regional codes and standards in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
