About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Coolant Mill Operator to support our Tandem Cold Mill (TCM) operations. This role is critical to maintaining the efficiency, quality, and safety of our coolant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain coolant system parameters on each shift
• Inspect and maintain main coolant tanks, vacuum filters, pump pressure, oil levels, and Schneider filter tanks
• Check and replace filter paper as required
• Take coolant samples and ensure system is running efficiently
• Conduct Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S activities in the TCM and Roll Shop areas
• Identify and rectify quality problems, suggesting solutions and corrective actions
• Coordinate with the Main Operator and Shift Supervisor for safe and productive operations
• Maintain safe working conditions and good housekeeping standards in the coolant section
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma (required)
• Minimum 5 years of operational experience in rolling mills
• Technical knowledge of coolant systems, vacuum filters, and rolling mill processes
• Familiarity with TPM and 5S methodology
• Strong communication skills in English (written and oral)
• Computer literacy
• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Work Conditions

• 80% plant-based / 20% office environment
• Shift-based schedule
