Job Summary

We are looking for a Retail Strategy Senior Lead to support the strategy and transformation agenda of the Retail Bank. The role will manage and coordinate strategic initiatives, track business performance, support transformation programmes, and provide insights to senior management.

The candidate will work closely with Retail Banking leadership, Transformation teams, project owners, and external consultants to ensure strategic programmes are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the Retail Banking strategy and transformation roadmap.
• Coordinate multiple strategic and transformation programmes across the Retail Bank.
• Work with business leaders, transformation teams, project owners, and consultants to track programme delivery.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, MI and management reports to monitor business and project performance.
• Review project plans, milestones, financials, risks, issues and delivery progress.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance updates and executive-level presentations for senior management.
• Analyse Retail Banking performance, financials and key business drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support business planning and provide recommendations to improve performance and manage risks.
• Design and coordinate sales incentive plans in collaboration with business and sales teams.
• Develop tools and reports to track and calculate incentive payouts.
• Lead/support critical business projects focused on business performance, cost optimisation and operational improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and performance management.
• Assess the impact of business/process/system changes and support change management activities.
• Participate in management committees and senior stakeholder meetings.
• Act as a deputy/support to the Head of Strategy & Transformation when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy or related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in Banking.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Strong experience in Retail Banking.
• Experience in Strategy, Transformation, PMO, Business Management or Performance Management.
• Strong experience in project/programme tracking and governance.
• Strong business analysis, planning and financial performance analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
