تعلن شركة معادن عن فرصة وظيفية بمسمى رئيس قسم الجيولوجيا (Section Head, Geology) في حقل خريص، السعودية.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
يلعب رئيس قسم الجيولوجيا دوراً محورياً في تعزيز استراتيجية استكشاف المعادن الأساسية لشركة معادن من خلال قيادة البرامج الجيولوجية التي تحدد وتقيّم وتطور فرص موارد النحاس ضمن محفظة الاستكشاف. يضمن توليد بيانات جيولوجية عالية الجودة وتفسيرات قوية للموارد ورؤى استكشافية تدعم قرارات الاستثمار والنمو طويل الأجل للموارد. يخلق الدور قيمة من خلال تحسين نتائج الاستكشاف ورفع الثقة الجيولوجية وتسريع تقدم أهداف الاستكشاف إلى موارد معدنية مجدية اقتصادياً. من خلال القيادة الفنية والحوكمة وتطوير الفريق، يعزز الدور أداء الاستكشاف ويقلل المخاطر الجيولوجية ويساهم في النمو المستدام لأعمال النحاس في معادن.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- ترجمة استراتيجية الاستكشاف إلى برامج جيولوجية تسرع اكتشاف موارد النحاس وتقديم المشاريع.
- تحديد وتصنيف ونضوج أهداف الاستكشاف بناءً على الإمكانات الجيولوجية والمخاطر والقيمة التجارية.
- تقديم تفسيرات جيولوجية عالية الثقة تدعم نمو الموارد وقرارات الاستثمار في المشاريع.
- حوكمة أنشطة الخرائط الجيولوجية والحفر والعينات والتسجيل والتفسير لضمان النزاهة الفنية.
- تعزيز النماذج الجيولوجية من خلال التكامل الفعال للبيانات الميدانية والجيوفيزيائية والجيوكيميائية وبيانات الحفر.
- تحسين الثقة في الموارد من خلال تطبيق منهجيات ومعايير جيولوجية رائدة في الصناعة.
- تنفيذ حملات الاستكشاف بأمان وكفاءة وضمن الجداول الزمنية والميزانيات المعتمدة.
- تحسين الإنفاق على الاستكشاف من خلال تحديد أولويات الأهداف عالية القيمة وبرامج العمل الفنية.
- ضمان الإبلاغ في الوقت المناسب عن نتائج الاستكشاف والاكتشافات والرؤى الجيولوجية الرئيسية.
- الامتثال لمتطلبات الحوكمة الاستكشافية والبيئية والسلامة وحوكمة الشركات.
- إدارة المخاطر الجيولوجية من خلال المراجعات الفنية القوية وعمليات الضمان والتحقق من البيانات.
- ضمان جودة بيانات الاستكشاف وسلامتها وإمكانية الوصول إليها للدراسات المستقبلية وتقييمات الموارد.
- بناء توافق قوي مع فرق الاستكشاف والجيولوجيا والموارد والتعدين والخدمات الفنية وتطوير المشاريع.
- تقديم إرشادات جيولوجية خبيرة تدعم تخطيط الأعمال ودراسات المشاريع وقرارات المحفظة.
- تمثيل النتائج والتوصيات الجيولوجية أمام الإدارة العليا ومنتديات المراجعة الفنية.
- تطوير فريق جيولوجي عالي الأداء من خلال التدريب والتوجيه وتبادل المعرفة.
- تعزيز جاهزية التعاقب والقدرات الفنية عبر وظيفة الجيولوجيا.
- تعزيز ثقافة السلامة والمساءلة والتعاون والتحسين المستمر.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الجيولوجيا أو علوم الأرض أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- يفضل درجة الماجستير في الجيولوجيا أو الجيولوجيا الاقتصادية أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة من 10 إلى 12 سنة في الاستكشاف الجيولوجي ضمن قطاع التعدين أو تطوير الموارد المعدنية.
- خبرة مثبتة في استكشاف المعادن الأساسية، ويفضل مشاريع استكشاف النحاس.
- خبرة في قيادة البرامج الجيولوجية الميدانية وحملات الحفر وأنشطة تقييم الموارد.
- خبرة مثبتة في القيادة الإدارية وتطوير الفريق.

- Translate exploration strategy into geological programs that accelerate copper resource discovery and project advancement.
- Identify, rank, and mature exploration targets based on geological potential, risk, and business value.
- Deliver high-confidence geological interpretations that support resource growth and project investment decisions.
- Govern geological mapping, drilling, sampling, logging, and interpretation activities to ensure technical integrity.
- Strengthen geological models through effective integration of field, geophysical, geochemical, and drilling data.
- Improve resource confidence through the application of industry-leading geological methodologies and standards.
- Deliver exploration campaigns safely, efficiently, and within approved schedules and budgets.
- Optimize exploration expenditure by prioritizing high-value targets and technical work programs.
- Ensure timely reporting of exploration results, discoveries, and key geological insights.
- Maintain compliance with exploration, environmental, safety, and corporate governance requirements.
- Manage geological risks through robust technical reviews, assurance processes, and data validation.
- Ensure exploration data quality, integrity, and accessibility for future studies and resource evaluations.
- Build strong alignment with exploration, resource geology, mining, technical services, and project development teams.
- Provide expert geological guidance that supports business planning, project studies, and portfolio decisions.
- Represent geological outcomes and recommendations to senior management and technical review forums.
- Develop a high-performing geology team through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Strengthen succession readiness and technical capability across the geology function.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of relevant geological exploration experience within mining or mineral resource development.
- Proven experience in base metals exploration, preferably copper exploration projects.
- Experience leading geological field programs, drilling campaigns, and resource evaluation activities.
- Demonstrated people leadership and team development experience.
