Role Description The Fire Fighting Installation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves designing, installing, and commissioning fire fighting systems in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The engineer will review drawings and specifications, prepare installation plans, coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams, and ensure correct integration of fire protection equipment into building systems. Daily tasks include supervising on-site installation activities, performing inspections and functional tests, identifying and resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The engineer will also support maintenance planning, participate in safety audits, liaise with authorities and clients on compliance matters, and contribute to continuous improvement of fire protection practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Equipment Installation skills, including hands-on experience with fire pumps, sprinkler systems, alarm devices, and related fire protection components.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Electrical Wiring skills to design, route, and connect power and control circuits for fire alarm and detection systems.
• Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills to design and oversee piping, valves, pumps, and mechanical components of fire suppression systems.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance skills to troubleshoot, inspect, and support preventive and corrective maintenance of installed fire fighting systems.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of international and local fire and building codes (e.g., NFPA, IBC, Saudi building regulations) and familiarity with approval processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and using engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software).
• Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work effectively on-site with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Prior experience in fire fighting system installation or fire protection projects in the Gulf region is beneficial.
