نحن في WSP في الشرق الأوسط نبحث عن مهندس مقيم (Resident Engineer) للإشراف على جميع الأنشطة الهندسية في موقع مشروع JSW في مكة / جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية، لضمان التنفيذ الناجح وفقاً للتصاميم المعتمدة والمواصفات الفنية ومعايير الجودة والسلامة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة والإشراف ومراقبة جميع الأعمال المدنية/الإنشائية (والتخصصات ذات الصلة) وفقاً للرسومات المعتمدة ومواصفات المشروع.
  • ضمان امتثال أنشطة الإنشاء لمعايير مشروع JSW واللوائح المحلية وكودات الهندسة الدولية.
  • إجراء فحوصات ميدانية يومية وإصدار تعليمات موقعية عند الحاجة.
  • الإشراف على عمليات المقاولين، ومراجعة أساليب العمل، والتقدم، والقوى العاملة، وتخصيص الموارد.
  • ضمان الالتزام بالجدول الزمني للمشروع والمساعدة في حل التأخيرات أو الاختناقات.
  • مراجعة واعتماد بيانات الطرق (Method Statements) والرسومات التنفيذية (Shop Drawings) ومستندات تسليم المواد والوثائق الفنية.
  • تنفيذ إجراءات ضمان الجودة ومراقبة الجودة (QA/QC) خلال مراحل الإنشاء.
  • التحقق من أن المواد والمعدات وطرق التركيب تلبي متطلبات الجودة الخاصة بالمشروع.
  • إجراء عمليات التفتيش والاختبارات والتدقيق مع الحفاظ على توثيق شامل.
  • فرض سياسات السلامة وفقاً لمعايير الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (HSE) الخاصة بالمشروع.
  • المشاركة في تدقيقات السلامة وتقييم المخاطر واجتماعات صندوق الأدوات (Toolbox Meetings).
  • ضمان توفير المقاول لبيئة عمل آمنة ومعالجة حالات عدم الامتثال فوراً.
  • الحفاظ على تواصل مستمر مع مدير المشروع وممثلي العميل والاستشاريين.
  • إعداد وتقديم تقارير التقدم الأسبوعية والشهرية وسجلات فنية ومراسلات موقع.
  • حضور اجتماعات التنسيق وتقديم مدخلات هندسية للمشكلات التصميمية أو المتعلقة بالموقع.
  • تقديم حلول للتعارضات التصميمية والقيود الميدانية والظروف الإنشائية غير المتوقعة.
  • التوصية بتحسينات فنية لتعزيز الكفاءة وتجنب إعادة العمل.
  • دعم مراجعة أوامر التغيير والمطالبات وطلبات التغيير.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية (أو تخصص هندسي ذي صلة).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 15 سنة في الإشراف الميداني وتنفيذ المشاريع، ويفضل أن تكون داخل المملكة العربية السعودية.
  • خبرة في المشاريع الصناعية أو الفولاذية أو مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • معرفة قوية بالمعايير الهندسية وأنظمة مراقبة الجودة (QA/QC) ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة (HSE).
  • مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والقيادة واتخاذ القرارات.
  • الإلمام بأدوات إدارة المشاريع والبرامج الهندسية (AutoCAD, MS Office وغيرها).

Job Description

The Resident Engineer oversees all on-site engineering activities to ensure the successful execution of the JSW project in alignment with approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves leading multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely project delivery.

  • Project Supervision & Technical Oversight
  • Lead, supervise, and monitor all civil/structural (and relevant discipline) works in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with JSW project standards, local regulations, and international engineering codes.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and issue site instructions when required.
  • Oversee contractors’ operations, reviewing work methods, progress, manpower, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to the project schedule and assist in resolving delays or bottlenecks.
  • Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures throughout construction phases.
  • Verify that materials, equipment, and installation methods meet the project’s quality requirements.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and audits while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Enforce safety policies in line with project HSE standards.
  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings.
  • Ensure the contractor maintains a safe working environment and addresses non-compliance promptly.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the Project Manager, client representatives, and consultants.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly progress reports, technical logs, and site correspondence.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide engineering input for design or site-related issues.
  • Provide solutions to design conflicts, site constraints, and unforeseen construction conditions.
  • Recommend technical improvements to enhance efficiency and avoid rework.
  • Support the review of change orders, claims, and variation requests.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or relevant engineering discipline).
  • 15+ years of experience in site supervision and project execution, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience with industrial, steel, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards, QA/QC systems, and HSE requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.).
