Scope of Position:

Support end-to-end logistics operations for all inbound air and sea shipments. Coordinate with freight forwarders, ensure cost effective, timely and compliant movement of goods, verify shipping documentation, track active shipments, and proactively communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsabilities:

1. Follow up on all air and sea orders placed by the purchasing team to ensure timely booking and dispatch.
2. Arrange shipping orders with freight forwarders, including booking, scheduling, and confirming vessel or flight allocations.
3. Negotiate freight quotes with forwarders on a per-shipment and volume basis, seeking the most competitive rates aligned with company targets.
4. Verify all shipping documents including bills of lading, airway bills, packing lists, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices for accuracy and compliance.
5. Track all active containers and air shipments to ensure arrival within scheduled timelines, escalating delays proactively.
6. Communicate any disruptions, delays, or exceptions to relevant stakeholders including procurement, sales, and operations in a timely manner

Qualifications & Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping operations, or logistics coordination.
2. Solid understanding of air and sea freight processes, Incoterms, and customs documentation
3. Experience working with/at freight forwarders and familiarity with carrier booking systems.
4. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external partners.
5. Experience in food, FMCG, or temperature-controlled logistics is preferred.
