Scope of position:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of food and beverage products, including dry, fresh, and frozen items.

The role is accountable for leading the warehouse team, managing operational performance, ensuring compliance with food safety and company standards, optimizing costs, and driving continuous improvement across all warehouse activities. This position reports directly to the Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Warehouse Operations Management

• Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, loading, and dispatch.
• Ensure efficient warehouse space utilization and proper storage conditions for all product categories.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound activities to ensure timely product availability and deliveries.

B. Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational and safety objectives.
• Plan workforce allocation, monitor performance, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance management activities.

C. Distribution & Cost Management

• Oversee daily dispatch operations and fleet coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service levels, and operational efficiency.
• Manage warehouse costs by optimizing labor, inventory, and operational resources.

D. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Quality teams to support business objectives.

E. Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the food and beverage or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.
• Good knowledge of food safety and warehouse compliance standards.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
