Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of Specialized’s Business Continuity practices to ensure operational resilience and continuity of critical business services. The role focuses on supporting business continuity planning, maintaining continuity documentation, coordinating continuity exercises, and monitoring readiness activities to minimize operational disruptions and support recovery objectives in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
Key Functional Accountability
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Specialized’s Business Continuity framework, plans, and procedures.
- Assist in conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities to identify critical business functions, dependencies, and recovery requirements.
- Support the development, review, and periodic update of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and related documentation.
- Coordinate business continuity testing exercises, simulations, and readiness assessments to evaluate effectiveness of recovery plans.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions resulting from continuity exercises, audits, and assessments.
- Maintain business continuity records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with business units to collect continuity-related information and ensure plans remain current and aligned with operational requirements.
- Support awareness and training activities related to business continuity across Specialized.
- Assist in monitoring business continuity risks and escalating potential continuity concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on business continuity readiness, testing results, and improvement initiatives.
