About Noortech

Noortech Engineering & Energy Advisory is a Jeddah-based independent, client-side advisor helping plant owners, developers and C&I clients add solar PV and battery storage (BESS) at existing power plants and grid connections across Saudi Arabia. We have no equipment-supply or EPC interests.

The role

We're looking for a Senior Power Systems / Grid Integration Engineer to lead grid studies for hybrid solar + BESS projects at existing points of interconnection. Based in Riyadh, Jeddah or remote within Saudi Arabia.

What you'll do

Load flow, short-circuit, dynamic and stability studies in PSS/E or PowerFactory.

Assess export limits and grid-code compliance (Saudi Grid Code) for hybrid plants.

Support interconnection applications and technical discussions with SEC / National Grid.

Review developer and EPC designs on behalf of clients.

What we're looking for

8+ years in power systems or grid integration, ideally with utility-scale PV, BESS or thermal plants in the GCC.

Hands-on PSS/E or PowerFactory experience and working knowledge of the Saudi Grid Code.

BSc in Electrical Engineering (MSc a plus); clear English report writing, Arabic a plus.
