Job summary
Ensure timely collection of payments from clients by managing customer invoicing, tracking outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate records of receivables.
Key Responsibilities
Project Accounting:
- Monitor and record financial transactions related to specific projects.
- Ensure that project costs are properly tracked and reported according to budgeted amounts.
- Work with project managers to track progress, identify cost overruns, and report on financial status.
- Preparing financial status reports per project contract
Invoicing:
- Generate and issue invoices to clients promptly and accurately.
- Ensure invoices reflect the correct terms and conditions.
- Ensuring invoices are in full compliance with tax rules and regulations
- Upload the invoices on the Customer websites (such as Etimad, SAP, Oracle, …. Etc.)
Transaction Processing:
- Record all transactions related to accounts receivable in the accounting system.
- Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices and tracking outstanding amounts.
Account Reconciliation:
- Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts.
- Resolve discrepancies and address any payment issues with clients.
Payment Processing:
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
- Process incoming payments and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts.
Collection Management:
- Oversee accounts receivable related to project-based revenues, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from clients.
- Maintain communication with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment disputes.
- Prepare ageing reports and assist in implementing strategies for reducing overdue accounts.
General:
- Performing any tasks assigned by the CFO
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or equivalent.
