Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Pharmacist role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks as appropriate. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, reviewing prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, and counseling patients on safe and effective medication use. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and nurses, performing medication reconciliation, monitoring for drug interactions and contraindications, and contributing to clinical rounds when needed. The role also involves maintaining proper inventory and storage conditions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital policies, updating medication records, and supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. The Pharmacist is expected to participate in continuing education, assist in training junior staff or students, and use clinical systems and digital tools to document and optimize pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, dosing, and evidence-based practice.
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings, with skills in medication reconciliation, patient counseling, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to use electronic health records, pharmacy information systems, and basic digital tools for documentation and medication management.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to medication safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution; completion of a pharmacy internship or residency is preferred.
• Valid pharmacist licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Saudi Arabia, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse, high-volume clinical environment and to adapt to a hybrid work model.
