#Hiring Remote Tutors

Role Description The Remote Tutor role at Faheem is a contract, fully remote position focused on providing online academic support to students in various subjects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering clear, engaging tutoring sessions, assessing student needs, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles. Remote Tutors will help learners review coursework, prepare for exams, complete assignments, and develop effective study habits. The role also involves maintaining regular communication with students, tracking progress, and updating session notes within the platform. Tutors are expected to manage their schedules, ensure a reliable online presence, and use digital tools to facilitate interactive and supportive learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more academic areas (e.g., Arabic, English, Physics, Science, Chemistry, Islamic Studies, Qur'an Kareem).
• Demonstrated teaching or tutoring skills, including explaining concepts clearly and adapting to different learning styles.
• Effective communication and active listening skills to engage students and provide constructive feedback.
• Comfort with online teaching platforms and basic digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to set learning objectives, and monitor student progress over time.
• Reliable internet connection, Laptop/iPad and a quiet, professional environment for conducting remote sessions.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is preferred; familiarity with local curricula is an advantage.
• Relevant academic background or degree in education or the subject area taught is beneficial.
