Executive Director - Accounting, Planning & Financial Control

Executive Leadership Opportunity

Are you an accomplished finance executive ready to lead the accounting, planning and financial control functions of a complex, multi-entity organisation?

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director - Accounting, Planning & Financial Control to join the executive leadership team of a major organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation.

This is a career-defining opportunity for an experienced Executive Director, Group Financial Controller or CFO from a listed company or similarly complex international business.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide executive leadership across four subsidiaries and be responsible for the organisation's financial integrity, governance, planning and performance.

You will lead three critical finance functions:

Financial Control

Tax

Accounting

Working closely with the Executive Committee, Boards and senior stakeholders, you will shape financial strategy while ensuring best-in-class reporting, governance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the accounting, financial control and tax functions across multiple legal entities.

Drive corporate planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Ensure accurate IFRS financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Strengthen governance, internal controls and financial risk management.

Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Build, mentor and develop high-performing finance leadership teams.

Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, banking partners and external advisers.

Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to Executive Committees and Boards.

About You

We are looking for a senior finance executive with the credibility and experience to operate at Board level.

You will bring:

Executive Director, Divisional CFO, Group CFO or Group Financial Controller experience.

Experience gained within a listed company or similarly complex multinational organisation.

Responsibility for multiple legal entities or subsidiaries.

Strong expertise across Financial Control, Accounting, FP&A and Tax.

Deep knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, governance and financial controls.

A proven track record of leading large finance teams through transformation and growth.

Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent Chartered Accountant.

MBA or Master's degree is advantageous.
