Role Description This full-time, on-site General Practitioner role at Hosp. Hospitalar is based in Saudi Arabia. The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves maintaining accurate and timely medical records, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contributing to clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives. The General Practitioner will provide patient education, promote preventive care, and support nursing staff and other clinical team members to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage diverse patient presentations in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
• Experience or training in Family Medicine, with a focus on holistic, continuity-based care across different age groups.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, team-based care.
• Demonstrated aptitude for Training, including mentoring junior clinicians and participating in continuing medical education activities.
• Recognized medical degree and valid license to practice as a General Practitioner; eligibility for registration with relevant Saudi regulatory authorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer applications; ability to document care clearly and accurately.
• Adaptability to working in a high-demand clinical environment and willingness to participate in shift or on-call rotas as required.
• Previous experience in hospital or primary care settings is highly desirable; additional certifications in emergency care or advanced life support are an advantage.
