The Sales Manager is responsible for implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and managing customer relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
This role reports directly to the Managing Director. This is an Individual Contributor role.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sales Operations :
- Follow and implement sales team SOP and share feedback to improve SOP of sales department.
- Cover the area market through client visits, in addition as and when instructed.
Business Development :
- Develop business plans and new market segments and their feasibilities as directed by top management.
- Develop business relationships with end users and major contractors as instructed by top management as special assignments.
- Using extensive market connections and business network, develop and implement sales strategies for projects while maintaining an accurate project pursuit list and providing
Customer Relations :
- Develop and manage the interface with customers in a professional manner for all phases (Pre-sales / Sales / Post Sales).
- Conduct daily visits to customer premises / project sites / engineering consultants to ensure top-class fulfillment of internal and external commitments to our business and customer requirements.
Target Achievement :
- Achieve the required annual bidding targets as provided by Head of Business unit.
- Achieve the sales target by ensuring volume of sales and gross margin of sales to be in line with acceptable limits as instructed by head of business units and general managers.
Qualification :
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Functional Requirement :
- More than 7 years in technical sales roles.
- Proven experience in implementing sales strategies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales principles and practices.
- Experienced in managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
