Responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the bank’s information security infrastructure to protect critical systems, networks, and data assets from cyber threats. This role ensures that all security technologies and controls are effectively deployed, continuously monitored, and aligned with the organization’s risk management and regulatory obligations. It involves working closely with IT Operations, Architecture, and Risk teams to maintain a secure and resilient technology environment. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate evolving cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions.
• Monitor network and system security, responding promptly to incidents and coordinating remediation efforts with relevant teams.
• Define and implement security architecture standards, ensuring alignment with SAMA, NCA, and international frameworks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and improve infrastructure resilience.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to integrate security requirements into infrastructure projects and technology upgrades.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5– 8 years of experience in information security infrastructure or cybersecurity operations, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
