The Heavy Equipment Operator is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment used in airport catering operations, including loading, unloading, and transporting catering supplies and equipment.

Daily responsibilities include maneuvering vehicles and machinery within designated airport areas, following supervisors’ instructions, and coordinating with catering and logistics teams to ensure timely service delivery. The operator is also responsible for conducting routine equipment inspections, reporting any malfunctions, and complying with all safety and security procedures and company policies.

The position requires compliance with airport regulations and the ability to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays as required by operational needs.

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment, with experience driving vehicles or operating machinery in industrial or airport environments.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices, including conducting basic inspections and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Experience in excavation or similar field operations, with a sound understanding of safe working practices around heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with equipment handling, including the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of materials.
• Possession of a valid heavy equipment operator’s license, appropriate for the equipment operated and in accordance with local regulations.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Strong awareness of safety standards, with the ability to follow established procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, communicate clearly with team members, and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Previous experience in the aviation, logistics, or catering support industry is an added advantage.
