We are seeking qualified and experienced Offshore Medics to provide primary healthcare, emergency medical response, stabilization and referral services to personnel at Aramco offshore drilling rigs across Saudi Arabia.

You will work on-site supported by our Topside Support Physicians and DAMCO On-Call Physicians and you will make sure all care follows approved medical protocols, client requirements and Saudi regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care & Emergency Response

• Assess, triage and treat patients, including history taking, physical examination and vital-sign monitoring
• Provide first aid and treatment for minor illnesses, injuries, wounds, burns and musculoskeletal complaints
• Respond to medical emergencies and trauma using an ABCDE approach, BLS, CPR and AED
• Provide initial management of bleeding, shock, fractures, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress and anaphylaxis
• Take part in emergency drills, mass-casualty exercises and site preparedness activities

Telemedicine & Escalation

• Consult the Topside Support / On-Call Physician using the SBAR format
• Follow authorized physician instructions and standing orders within scope of practice
• Escalate promptly when a patient deteriorates or needs exceed site resources

Referral & Medical Evacuation

• Identify patients who need referral or MEDEVAC and arrange it according to clinical urgency
• Coordinate with the OIM, Person in Charge, radio operator, HSE and transport providers
• Prepare and stabilize patients for transfer and give a structured clinical handover

Medication, Equipment & Clinic Readiness

• Manage medication stock, administration records, expiry checks and safe storage
• Carry out and document routine checks of AEDs, oxygen, suction, monitors and emergency bags
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, infection prevention standards and safe medical waste handling

Documentation & Occupational Health

• Complete a Patient Encounter Report (PER) or EMR entry for every encounter
• Record workplace injuries, occupational exposures and incidents
• Support health promotion on heat stress, hydration, fatigue and site-specific risks
• Complete thorough shift handovers and keep continuous coverage throughout the rotation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing registered in your country of origin
• Valid MOH and SCFHS licenses or proof that your application is in process
• At least 1 year experience in offshore rigs

Preferred

• Industrial or occupational health clinic experience
• Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
