CLIENT AND ROLE:

Our client is an established structural steel specialist within a major Saudi Arabian group, providing design, engineering, fabrication and erection services. They are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex high-rise structural steel package on an iconic project in Jeddah.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of an iconic landmark project and to strengthen your portfolio with experience on a high-profile, technically demanding development. This is a full-time, site-based position on a 12-month fixed-term contract, scheduled from January to December 2027.

MUST HAVE SKILL SET FOR THE CANDIDATE TO BE CONSIDERED:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil- or Structural Engineering.

- Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience, including at least 7-10 years in structural steel project management and erection.

- Proven hands-on experience managing structural steel erection at elevations exceeding 150 meters.

- Experience with reputable international structural steel contractors on major skyscraper projects in Saudi Arabia, the GCC, or other international markets will be considered a significant advantage.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Preference shall be given to candidates with a proven track record in landmark high-rise developments involving:

- Complex steel erection above completed reinforced concrete structures.

- Large structural trusses, tubular steel framing, and heavy structural assemblies.

- Restricted crane capacities requiring specialized erection methodologies.

- Engineered temporary working platforms and protective screening systems.

- High-altitude construction involving challenging access, lifting, and structural stability conditions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil- or Structural Engineering.

- Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience, including at least 7-10 years in structural steel project management and erection.

- Proven hands-on experience managing structural steel erection at elevations exceeding 150 meters.

- Extensive experience with complex tubular steel structures, large trusses, heavy structural assemblies, and challenging steel connections.

- Demonstrated expertise in developing erection sequences compatible with restricted crane capacities, including engineered member segmentation and assembly strategies.

- Proven experience coordinating the design and implementation of temporary working platforms, climbing access systems, safety screens, and temporary structural supports.

- Strong understanding of construction-stage structural stability, temporary bracing, load transfer, and erection engineering.

- Experience coordinating specialized lifting operations, including detailed lifting plans, rigging arrangements, and crane load-chart limitations.

- Comprehensive knowledge of structural steel fabrication, site welding, bolting, dimensional control, and quality assurance.

- Strong project management, leadership, commercial, contractual, and communication skills.
