Role Description The Senior Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam. This position is responsible for monitoring workplace conditions, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Daily tasks include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits; supporting incident and accident investigations; and maintaining accurate documentation and safety records. The Safety Officer will organize and deliver safety training sessions, promote a strong safety culture among all team members, and collaborate with operations, production, and management to implement corrective actions. The role also involves coordinating with security personnel and external regulatory bodies as needed to uphold company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with a solid understanding of industrial safety regulations and best practices. At least 5 years experience and 2 years experience in Senior Position
• Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
• Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with experience designing and delivering safety awareness programs and toolbox talks.
• Candidates should possess Security-related skills, including coordination with security teams to control site access and support emergency response procedures.
• Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Experience in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environments and familiarity with local and international safety standards are preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
