Role Description The broiler breeder veterinarian will play a key role in overseeing the health, welfare, and productivity of broiler breeder flocks at . This full-time, on-site role includes daily monitoring of flock health, performing clinical examinations, and implementing vaccination and biosecurity programs. The veterinarian will diagnose and treat diseases, conduct post-mortem examinations, and analyze flock performance data to optimize reproductive efficiency and chick quality. Responsibilities also include advising farm management on nutrition and housing conditions, developing and updating health protocols, training farm staff in animal welfare and hygiene practices, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and relevant regulations. The role collaborates closely with production, quality assurance, and laboratory teams to support continuous improvement in flock health and overall product quality.

Qualifications

• Veterinary expertise in poultry medicine, particularly broiler breeder management, including flock health monitoring, disease diagnosis, and treatment.
• Experience with vaccination programs, biosecurity implementation, and preventive health strategies in commercial poultry operations.
• Knowledge of poultry nutrition, housing, and welfare standards, with capacity to advise on optimal environmental and management practices.
• Strong communication and training skills to support and educate farm teams on health protocols, hygiene, and safe handling procedures.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree; specialization or significant experience in poultry production is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and international best practices for food safety, animal health, and environmental stewardship.
• Ability to work on-site in Jeddah, travel between farm locations as needed, and collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in using standard computer software for reporting and data analysis; experience with farm or production management systems is an advantage.
