PURPOSE OF WORK:

To assist and advise the CT General Manager & Controller and CFO in all high level tasks, including technical accounting matters, handling audit issues, advisory role for income and withholding tax, placement of refinery insurance program, overall administration of Enterprise Risk Management, as well as FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and other financial and compliance matters. Support as a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Specialist to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Experience in oil and gas is needed preferably in downstream operations.

REGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES:

• Prepare and coordinate the annual budgeting, long-term business planning, short-term operating planning, and periodic forecasting processes.
• Develop financial models and analyze profitability, cost structures, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall business performance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and Board presentations. Develop management dashboards.
• Conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis, identify performance drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with business leaders to develop budgets and improve financial performance.
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and financial feasibility assessments.
• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, profitability, cash flow, and cost performance and identify cost optimization opportunities, and support effective cost control initiatives.
• Support month-end closing activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
• Responsible for managing the overall insurance program for the company and obtaining management approval thereon, including planning, evaluating, and negotiating with insurance agents and coordination with SHs risk management team.
• Assist and advise the CT General Manager & Controller and others in income tax and other compliance matters.
• Coordinate, review and ensure timely submission of Transfer Pricing filing with the GAZT.
• Assist the CT General Manager & Controller in the hiring and development of the new PDEs in Controllers Department.
• Assist the CT General Manager & Controller and CFO in closing all type of field audit memos (SHs audit, external audit, internal audit) and continue performing self assessment to the closed audit items.
• Perform any other task assigned by CT General Manager & Controller and CFO.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Excellent skills in financial modeling, analytical tools, ERP systems and data intelligence.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft suite.
• Excellent skills in presentation skills, negotiations, influencing and deriving alignments.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor degree of Accounting.

Have professional Finance & Accounting qualification , preferably in FP&A (CPA , ACCA, CMA, SOCPA).

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, including Insurance, Taxation, Audit, ERM, and Technical Accounting (IFRS) in oil and gas, preferably in downstream operation.
