Purpose of the job
To support the growth and development of the export business across assigned markets by managing relationships with distributors and customers, coordinating export sales activities, and ensuring smooth execution of commercial and operational processes in alignment with company policies and business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Support the achievement of export sales targets in assigned markets through effective management of existing customers and identification of new business opportunities.
- Assist in developing volume and value growth plans for existing distributors and support market expansion initiatives in new export territories.
- Coordinate with distributors and customers to ensure timely execution of agreed business plans, promotions, and sales activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of sales forecasts and demand plans for assigned export markets.
- Customer & Distributor Management
- Maintain strong working relationships with distributors, importers, and customers to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, commercial follow-ups, and operational issues in coordination with relevant internal departments.
- Monitor distributor performance and market activities and provide regular feedback and market insights to management.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions to address customer or market-related challenges.
- Cross Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely product availability, shipment planning, and smooth execution of export orders.
- Ensure export documentation and shipping processes are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and international trade requirements.
- Work closely with Quality and Supply Chain teams to minimize customer complaints, returns, and delivery issues.
- Coordinate internally to ensure products are shipped to the correct markets and in line with distribution policies.
- Finance & Reporting
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure compliance with approved credit terms, payment follow-up, and customer account reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, shipment updates, forecast tracking, and market performance analysis for management review.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and highlight risks and opportunities proactively.
- Market Support
- Support participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer visits to enhance market presence and identify business opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence related to competitors, pricing, product trends, and customer needs to support business growth initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Educational level: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Commercial, Export, or FMCG distribution
- Experience in export operations, distributor management, and international trade practices
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic
